Ingredients
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 3 c. diced potatoes
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 4 c. milk, scalded
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Bring water to boil; add salt and vegetables in order.
- boil until tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add sugar, pepper and hot milk; mix.
- Add butter and serve.
