Ingredients

  • 8 medium potatoes
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 pints heavy whipping cream
  • 1 stick real butter
  • 1 salt and white pepper

Method

  • Clean and cut potatoes small enough so they won't take so long to cook.
  • Leave skin on.
  • Place cut potatoes in enough water to cover them.
  • Bring to boil and simmer on low till potatoes are soft.
  • When they're done, drain water and return potatoes back to pot and leave flame on low and stir and start mashing.
  • This will dry out any existing moisture in the potatoes.
  • Make sure you don't burn them.
  • Separate head of garlic like a flower in bloom.
  • Drizzle some olive oil, salt and pepper over garlic head and roast in oven at 400 till garlic is soft and mashable.
  • Approx.
  • 45 min.
  • When garlic is done, let cool before you try and peel the cloves.
  • Mash them with a fork or knife and mx them into the potatoes.
  • Cut butter into cubes to make it easier to mix in.
  • Add enough heavy whipping cream to make potatoes just turn color.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
