Ingredients
- 8 medium potatoes
- 1 head garlic
- 1 pints heavy whipping cream
- 1 stick real butter
- 1 salt and white pepper
Method
- Clean and cut potatoes small enough so they won't take so long to cook.
- Leave skin on.
- Place cut potatoes in enough water to cover them.
- Bring to boil and simmer on low till potatoes are soft.
- When they're done, drain water and return potatoes back to pot and leave flame on low and stir and start mashing.
- This will dry out any existing moisture in the potatoes.
- Make sure you don't burn them.
- Separate head of garlic like a flower in bloom.
- Drizzle some olive oil, salt and pepper over garlic head and roast in oven at 400 till garlic is soft and mashable.
- Approx.
- 45 min.
- When garlic is done, let cool before you try and peel the cloves.
- Mash them with a fork or knife and mx them into the potatoes.
- Cut butter into cubes to make it easier to mix in.
- Add enough heavy whipping cream to make potatoes just turn color.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
