Ingredients

  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced
  • 2 c. broccoli, cut up
  • 2 c. cauliflower, cut up
  • 1 c. water chestnuts
  • 1 c. bamboo shoots

Method

  • Cook rice.
  • While cooking rice, prepare vegetables.
  • A variety of vegetables can be used.
  • I have listed a few veggies we usually use, but feel free to add your own favorites.
  • To cook vegetables, stir-fry carrots for 1 minute.
  • Add cauliflower; stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add broccoli, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add cooked rice; mix.
  • Sprinkle soy sauce to taste.
