Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 5 c. all-purpose flour
Method
- Put yeast
- in
- lukewarm
- water;
- scald milk.
- Add sugar, salt and shortening;
- cool to lukewarm.
- Add 2 cups flour; beat well. Add eggs and yeast to milk and blend well; add remaining flour to make
- soft
- dough.
- Turn
- out on lightly floured board and knead. Shape rolls in greased baking pans.
- Brush top with butter.
- Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, 1 to 2 hours. Bake

- 425°
- oven
- for 12 to 15 minutes. This makes good cinnamon rolls.
