Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 diced green pepper
- 1 (40 1/2 oz.) can light kidney beans
- 2 (16 oz.) cans diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
Method
- Brown ground beef in heavy saucepan; drain.
- Add onion and green pepper. Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
- May be served over cooked rice or baked potato.
