Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound beef ground
  • 1 each onions chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces soup, tomato can, condensed
  • 16 ounces beans green, can, cut, drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups potatoes cooked, mashed, seasoned
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method

  • Crumble beef into large fry pan.
  • Add onion and salt, and cook until browned.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Add soup, green beans and pepper.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole.
  • Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes.
