Ingredients
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. hot mashed potatoes
- 3 Tbsp. butter flavor Crisco
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. dry yeast, melted in 1/4 c. warm potato water
- 3/4 c. warm milk
- flour
Method
- Combine eggs, potatoes, Crisco, sugar, salt and yeast and mix well.
- Add warm milk and flour to make soft dough.
- Alternate flour and milk until dough is soft and elastic.
- Allow to rise.
- Work down.
- Make into cloverleaf rolls.
- Bake after second rise at 350° for 7 to 10 minutes.
