Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 slices bread, torn in small pieces
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In skillet, saute the celery and onions in margarine.
- Pare and boil potatoes in salted water.
- When done, mash using just a little milk.
- Mix into potatoes the rest of the ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Put into greased baking dish.
- Bake for one hour.
- Cover for first half hour, uncover for remaining time.
- Serves 4 to 6.
