- cross rib roast Boneless shoulder, or bottom round
- onions 2 lg.
- 1 beef bouillon
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- salt
- pepper
- 4 ounces mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons fat
Method
- Add onions, bouillon and rest of ingredients.
- Simmer pot roast 2 1/2-3 hours.
- Stew 1 1/2-2 hours.
- Add 4 ounces mushrooms.
