Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 sticks melted margarine
- 6 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 bottle anise seed
Method
- Beat eggs, then add sugar gradually.
- Add margarine, seasonings and flour a little at a time.
- "You can bake right away or refrigerate overnight.
- If you put in refrigerator, seasonings will go through batter.
- The batter will be thin like cake batter."
- Drop on iron and bake 30 to 40 seconds, about 1/2 teaspoon.
- Dough can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 weeks, covered.
