Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry yeast
Method
- Combine flour, salt and sugar in a medium sized bowl.
- Mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Stir butter in hot water in a separate bowl.
- When water has cooled to lukewarm, add yeast and let develop 5 minutes.
- Add yeast mixture to bowl with flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms that leaves sides of bowl.
- It will be somewhat sticky.
- Make a ball of the dough.
- Let rise in oiled bowl for 45 minutes or until doubled.
- Shape by pulling and rolling on sheet.
