Ingredients

  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • pinch of sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. wheat flour
  • 1 c. white flour

Method

  • Put together the first 3 ingredients.
  • In a large bowl, mix the oil, salt and wheat flour.
  • Knead by hand 6 to 7 minutes, adding white flour a little at a time.
  • Put in a greased bowl and cover. Leave in a warm place to rise 2 to 3 hours, until tripled.
  • Punch down and roll out some on lightly floured surface until thin.
  • This may be used for pizza and topped with sauce, cheese and veggies or for a calzone.
