Ingredients

  • 7 c. popped corn
  • 3 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • a few drops red food coloring

Method

  • In the bottom part of double boiler, heat about 1-inch of water to boiling.
  • Place the top part into bottom and put all ingredients except popcorn into pan.
  • Tint the syrup with a few drops of red food coloring.
  • Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over popped corn and shape quickly into balls with well-greased hands.
  • Yields 10 medium balls.
