Ingredients
- 3 egg whites, at room temperature
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form when beaters are raised.
- Gradually beat in sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Continue to beat until stiff peaks form when beaters are raised.
- Spread over warm filling.
- Bake 2 to 10 minutes or until golden.
