Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 2 (16 ounce.) pork & beans
- 2 c. herb stuffing mix
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. minced onion
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 tbsp. thyme
- 1/2 c. ketchup
Method
- In medium fry pan, cook sausage till well done.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Crumble.
- In large bowl combine sausage with remaining ingredients, mix well.
- Spoon into well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- Level top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hrs.
- (For easier serving, let loaf stand 5 min at room temperature after removing from oven.)
- Serve warm with grated cheddar cheese, tomato sauce, chili sauce or possibly mustard.
- Serve cool also, thinly sliced on sandwich or possibly salad plate.
- Makes 8 servings.
