Ingredients
- 3 lb. sliced tender squash
- 2 c. sliced onion
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. diced sweet pepper
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Combine squash, onion and salt; mix well.
- Let stand for 1 hour; drain well.
- Mix peppers, squash, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
- Add mixture to drained squash; bring to a boil. Pack in jars and seal.
- Do not use aluminum pan.
- Granite is best.
