Ingredients
- beef or pork steak, cubed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- celery ticks,
- parsley
- peas
- 1 cup barley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ginger (optional)
- 1 large potato, cubed
- carrots, sliced
- 1 heaping tbsp. either beef or chicken in a mug
Method
- Fill a large pot 3/4 with water. Add all ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer for one hour. Keep an eye on the liquid level, and if it gets too low add boiling hot water to it to thin out a bit.
