Ingredients
- 24 green peppers
- 12 onions
- 12 green tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 3 c. white sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Method
- Grind peppers and
- onions together using medium or fine blade of chopper.
- Grind
- tomatoes
- separately.
- Pour
- enough boiling water over peppers
- and
- onions to cover.
- Let stand 5 minutes, then drain off water.
- Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil, then
- add tomatoes and peppers.
- Cook for 10 minutes.
- Pack in hot jars and seal.
- Makes about 12 pints.
