Ingredients
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. hot peppers, chopped fine
- 1 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 3/4 c. green bell pepper, chopped fine
- 6 oz. Certo
Method
- In a large pot place the first 4 ingredients.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Cook 1 to 2 minutes on very low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in Certo.
- Bring pot back to heat and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour jelly into canning jars and seal.
- Red or green food coloring may be added to mixture for coloring.
- Yields about 4 (1/2-pint) jars.
