Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2/3 c. light corn syrup
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cook sugar, syrup and water until syrup is hard when dropped on water (hard crack stage).
- While syrup is cooking, beat egg whites until very stiff.
- When syrup has reached hard crack stage, pour slowly over egg whites.
- Add vanilla, continue beating until very stiff and cool enough to handle.
- Form into rolls.
