Ingredients
- 6 c. pears, peeled and cored
- 5 bell peppers
- 4 medium or large onions
- 1 small jar pimientos
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Grind the first four ingredients.
- Add sugar, vinegar and seasonings.
- Cook 20 to 25 minutes.
- Seal in sterile jars.
- Yields approximately 5 pints.
