Ingredients
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 to 4 c. salted red Spanish peanuts
- 1 Tbsp. soda
Method
- Cook sugar, syrup and water until it forms a soft ball when tried in water (236°).
- Add peanuts and cook until mixture is amber colored (294°).
- Remove from heat and add soda; stir thoroughly.
- Pour on greased tin or dish.
- When cool, break into uneven pieces.
