Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3 cups crisco butter flavor shortening
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups eggs
- 8 cups flour
- 24 ounces chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Drop by the teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 7 to 8 minutes.
- May be kept in refrigerator for a week or so (if they last that long). Can also be kept frozen before or after baking.
- Makes 15 to 20 dozen cookies depending on the size.
