Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. onion
- 2 basil leaves
- salt and pepper
- pasta (for mixture to be served on top)
Method
- Heat oil, place cuts of cauliflower in olive oil and brown lightly.
- Remove when brown, saute onion.
- Add tomato sauce.
- Stir and replace cauliflower into pot.
- Stir and add 3 cans of water (from tomato can).
- Water should cover cauliflower in pot.
- Add salt and pepper and basil leaves.
- Cook until cauliflower is tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour, on low heat with cover on.
- Pour over pasta.
