Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. cottage cheese (low-fat, small curd)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 16 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained
  • 1 (13 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Mix spinach, Mozzarella cheese, egg white, Parmesan cheese and nutmeg until blended.
  • Fill each pasta shell with a heaping tablespoonful of spinach mixture.
  • Place in greased 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
  • Spoon sauce over shells.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  • Makes 4 servings.
