Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. plain M&M's
Method
- Blend shortening and sugar; beat in vanilla and eggs.
- Sift remaining dry ingredients together.
- Add to the sugar and egg mixture; mix well.
- Stir in 1/2 cup M&M's.
- Reserve remaining candies for decorating.
- Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Decorate top of cookies with remaining M&M's.
- Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
