Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Sift together dry ingredients.
  • Add wet ingredients and mix.
  • Batter will have some lumps.
  • If it is too thick, add milk 1 tablespoons at a time until desired consistency.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet and spray with Pam.
  • Use 1/4 to 1/3 cup batter per pancake.
  • Turn when surface loses it's shine and most bubbles have popped.
  • Cook for just about 1 minute on second side before removing.
  • Pancakes should be golden to golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve with hot maple syrup.
