Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can tiny green peas, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can white Shoe Peg corn, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • small can pimento, drained
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Method

  • Combine peas, green beans, corn, onion, celery and pimento in a large bowl.
  • Combine in saucepan the sugar, vegetable oil, white wine vinegar, salt and black pepper.
  • Heat until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetables.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
