Ingredients
- 2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
- 5 or 6 carrots
- 3 or 4 potatoes
- 2 small onions
- 1 can beef broth
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
Method
- Brown beef in skillet. Cut all vegetables in chunks.
- Mix all ingredients in large roasting pan.
- Cover tightly with foil; bake for 3 hours at 325° or for 4 hours at 250°.
- Don't peek until after 2 hours; re-cover and finish baking.
