Ingredients

  • 2-11 oz. cans of Mandarin orange segments, drained.
  • 1-20 oz. can pineapple tidbits (reserve juice)
  • 2-envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1-cup orange juice (or pineapple from tidbits)
  • 1-cup boiling water
  • 1-14 oz. evaporated milk
  • 1-2 lb. container yogurt
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • In a large bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 1 cup juice. Let stand one minute.
  • Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Add milk, yogurt, pineapple, oranges and vanilla
  • Stir until all ingredients are mixed together.
  • Cover and place in refrigerator for 5 hrs. or overnight.
