Ingredients
- 4 medium onions
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 to 1 c. grated cheese
- 12 saltines
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Saute onions
- in butter; mix with soup.
- Line bottom of casserole
- with
- saltines.
- Pour
- soup
- and onion mixture over saltines.
- Mix eggs and
- milk
- with
- salt
- and pepper and pour over soup and onion
- mixture.
- Sprinkle cheese over top.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
