Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten with 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 heaping tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 -2 tablespoons salmon roe or caviar
  • Whole chives, for garnish

Method

  • In a bowl mix eggs with salt, pepper and dill.
  • In a hot non-stick omelet pan melt butter, add egg mixture and make omelet.
  • Slide omelet from pan to a serving plate.
  • Dollop sour cream and salmon roe on top.
  • Garnish with whole chives.
