Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Combine sugar, corn syrup and water.
- Cook to soft ball stage. Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark.
- Remove from heat. Add baking soda, salt and vinegar.
- Stir well.
- Pour into buttered cookie sheet or foil pie plates.
- Cool and break in pieces.
- Makes 2 pounds.
