Ingredients
- 1 double pie crust in deep dish
- 1 qt. fruit (peaches, cherries, berries or apples)
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- scant 7/8 c. sugar
- fruit and juice of 1 small lemon
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Method
- Mix flour and sugar well.
- Add fruit and juice of small lemon. Put
- all ingredients into deep dish and add top crust. Bake
- at 400°
- for
- 30 minutes;
- turn down to 350° and finish baking approximately 30 minutes longer.
- Crust should get nice and brown and juice bubble through top crust holes.
- (Make few cuts with knife in top crust before putting on pie.)
