Ingredients
- 2 (16 oz.) jars sauerkraut, drained
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 2 medium onions, halved
- 2 tart apples, peeled and cut in wedges
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 lb. spareribs
Method
- In a Dutch oven, layer all ingredients in order. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 2 to 3 hours until tender. Serves 6.
