Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 6 Tbsp. oleo, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Method

  • In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
  • Set aside.
  • In small mixing bowl, stir together eggs, milk, oleo and brown sugar.
  • Add to flour mixture. Stir until blended.
  • Pour batter onto preheated grids of lightly greased waffle iron.
  • Bake about 5 to 6 minutes.
