Ingredients

  • 800 grams Pork Mince
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp ground cumin seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 cup chopped Coriander (optional)
  • 1 cup Fresh or frozen, Pea/corn/Carrot mix
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 medium Fine chopped onions
  • 2 fine chopped Fresh red chillies (optional)
  • 20 grams Grated Fresh Ginger (Or a couple of tspn's of minced)
  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 1/2 cup Water

Method

  • Heat oil in wok(medium high), Add mustard seeds, cook until popped,about 2-3mins.
  • Add Cumin/Turmeric/Garam Masala, and stir fry for 2mins
  • Add Garlic/Ginger/Onions/Vegies.
  • stirfry till soft
  • Add mince, stir fry till browned and separated.
  • Add water, Simmer uncovered 15 mins or till evaporated
  • Add Cooked Rice, stir fry 2mins
  • Remove from heat, Add Coriander and stir through
