- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1-2 cups macaroni
- 1/4 cup dried onions
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes, diced
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1-2 T. sugar
- 1/4 - 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 t. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Cook and stir meat, macaroni, onion and green pepper until meat is browned and macaroni is darkened. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes. Uncover and simmer until sauce is desired consistency.
