Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 tubes refrigerator biscuits

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Place the Monkey Pot on a pie pan to catch any excess drip.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Brush the interior of the mold well with the butter*.
  • Open refrigerator biscuits and dip the biscuits individually in the butter and layer them into the pot, taking care to see that each layer alternates over the last.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then cover with foil and continue to bake for an additional 30 minutes or until done.
  • Tap the top; it will sound hollow when done.
  • Invert the mold onto a plate and serve piping hot.
