Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 cubed steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can whole potatoes
  • 1/2 c. vegetable liquid
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can mixed vegetables
  • 1 can peas and carrots

Method

  • Cut steaks into 1-inch strips.
  • Season flour with salt and pepper.
  • Roll steak in flour mixture.
  • Heat butter in skillet until bubbling.
  • Add meat; brown well on all sides.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Cut whole potatoes into cubes.
  • Cover skillet; simmer for 10 minutes.
