- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 5 c. oatmeal, blended into a fine powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 24 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
- 3 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Cream butter and both sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla; blend well.
- Add all remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- (You will probably have to use your hands because the mixture will be thick and dry.
- Very small portions of water may be dribbled into the mixture to help with the blending.)
- Roll into balls and place 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Makes approximately 100 cookies.
