Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. warm
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. chocolate chips

Method

  • In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • Stir in water, egg, oil and vanilla.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon batter into 6 greased 6 ounce custard cups.
  • Microwave 3 cakes at a time, uncovered, until wooden pick comes out clean, about 2 minutes.
  • Loosen edges of cakes; remove from dishes.
  • Serve warm.
