Ingredients

  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 c. red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. fresh coriander
  • 2 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • salsa and sour cream (garnish)
  • 8 bagels, slightly frozen
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 tsp. dried oregano leaves or 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Slice the slightly frozen bagels 1/4-inch thick. Lightly butter and sprinkle with oregano or garlic powder. Bake at 250° for 15 to 25 minutes or until crisp.
