Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 to 4 slices bread, cubed (2 pieces for small batch)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can milk
  • 1 can mushrooms, strained

Method

  • Mix ground beef, eggs, onion,
  • bread cubes and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Make into meatballs and brown.
  • Put in casserole dish.
  • Add mushroom soup, milk (enough to cover meatballs) and mushrooms.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Serve mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes.
