- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 3 slices bread, soaked in 1/3 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. salt (1/2 in meat)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. white wine
- 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 2 beef bouillon cubes in 2 c. hot water
- 2 Tbsp. minced onions
- steamed rice
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
Method
- Mix ground beef, onions, bread, salt and pepper.
- Form into meatballs; brown in butter.
- Drain grease; scrape meat particles loose.
- Place meatballs back in skillet.
