Ingredients
- 5 medium potatoes peeled and chopped in half
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 water to cover
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp herb de provence
- 1 tsp each of paprika,caynenne pepper and garlic powder
Method
- Wash ,peel and half the potatoes
- Put in a pot add salt and cover with water
- Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for five minutes to soften slightly
- Drain potatoes and return to pot place lid on pot and shake to rough up the edges
- In a roasting tray add two tablespoons of oil ,then add the potatoes roll around the oil to coat
- Now season with salt and pepper and Ur favourite herbs I spices I added paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and herb de provence
- Pre heat oven to 200C/400F add seasoned potatoes and bake for 45-50 minutes until crispy and golden server with a hearty roast dinner
