Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- onion powder
- 1 medium loaf Velveeta cheese
Method
- Cook macaroni in salted water until tender and drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and blend in flour to form a paste, then add milk.
- Cook and stir until thick.
- Add salt and pepper and cover mixture entirely with onion powder.
- Stir in cheese until melted. Mix sauce with macaroni and turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole pan. Cook at 350° for 45 minutes.
