Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. Pet skimmed evaporated milk
- 12 regular marshmallows
- 1/2 c. margarine
- few grains of salt
- 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix in heavy 2-quart pan.
- Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a quick boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top).
- Boil and stir 5 minutes more.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir chocolate bits in until completely melted.
- Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Spread in buttered pan.
