- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 large green pepper, sliced
- 1 c. celery, cut up
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. each salt and pepper
- garlic, basil, oregano to taste
- 1 packet Equal (optional)
- 1 can mushrooms
- 8 oz. noodles (wide)
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. water
Method
- Cook turkey, peppers, celery and mushrooms.
- Add tomatoes, sauce, water and seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam.
- Spoon small amount on bottom.
- Cover with uncooked noodles; pour remaining over top.
- Cover with cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
- Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
