Ingredients
- 2 pounds Fish Fillets
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (juice Of 1 Lemon)
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, Very Cold, Cut Into Bits
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
- 1 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cups Fresh Parsley, Chopped (or 2 Tablespoons Of Dried)
- 1/4 cups Melted Butter
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Layer fish fillets in a casserole dish and season with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
- Place bits of butter over the fish.
- In a saucepan, melt the remaining 2 Tablespoons of butter and stir in the flour.
- Cook over low heat 5 minutes, then whisk in the milk and cook until thick.
- Add the mustard and additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour over fish.
- Combine breadcrumbs, parsley, and the 1/4 cups of melted butter.
- Sprinkle on top of casserole.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
