Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Fish Fillets
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (juice Of 1 Lemon)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Very Cold, Cut Into Bits
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 cups Fresh Parsley, Chopped (or 2 Tablespoons Of Dried)
  • 1/4 cups Melted Butter

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Layer fish fillets in a casserole dish and season with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
  • Place bits of butter over the fish.
  • In a saucepan, melt the remaining 2 Tablespoons of butter and stir in the flour.
  • Cook over low heat 5 minutes, then whisk in the milk and cook until thick.
  • Add the mustard and additional salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour over fish.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, parsley, and the 1/4 cups of melted butter.
  • Sprinkle on top of casserole.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
